Till now many events/ camps have been arranged through the hospital first by Dr.V.B.Chitale and now by his daughter Dr. Vinaya Chitale after moving back to India from United States

The goals for these events were –

  • 1. To improve standard of ENT care in rural India.
  • 2. To spread awareness of ENT disorders for early detection and appropriate treatment.

Dr. V.B.Chitale saw patients on regular basis in rural settings in Tasgaon near his hometown Bhilawadi and Talegaon near Pune. Dr. Vinaya Chitale has conducted ENT camps in rural areas like Gondawale in Satara district and in Pawas, Ratnagiri. She intends to continue doing this work in future.

Multiple camps have been conducted at Chitale hospital for causing awareness for thyroid disorders, head and neck cancer, hearing loss, vertigo and balance disorders, allergy and immunotherapy, voice disorders etc.

Along with offering state of the art surgical treatments establishing nonsurgical treatments using international protocols has been a continuous ongoing work at Chitale hospital.

Dr. Vinaya Chitale has been invited to give talks/ presentations by Indian Medical Association, Akashwani –Pune radiostation, Rotary Club of Pune and by KEM hospital, Pune.

Educational event such as training for young ENT doctors will soon start to share international practices offered by Chitale Hospital.

Community service like hearing screening in school going children is offered by our hospital at very low cost to enhance early detection of hearing loss in children.
